Used for Delayed Boy and his little sister Jun 07, 2009 I got this monkey because both my daughter and son were showing signs they were ready to potty train. They both have the same problem were they get involved with playing and forget to go, so the monkey works wonderfully. The one downside is that the time settings are 30 min or 90 min, one is too long and the other too short for my son. So I set it to the 90 min and then 30 min in, switch it to the 30 min setting. I wish there was just a setting for one hour. otherwise it has worked better than I would have imagined! I have recommended it to my brother for his son already :)

Would be great except for the tail May 07, 2009 My son loves how this monkey talks, and loves to flush the toilet (great sound). But who in the world designed this monkey WITH A TAIL?!? It's nearly impossible to get either the diaper or underpants on or off, even for me, since you have to work the long tail through an extra tiny hole. The tail also gets in the way so the monkey can't balance on the toilet very well--he usually falls off. So instead, we use some of his other toys on the toilet instead. The adult's book that came with the set is very useful, the children's book so-so.

Potty Training monkey May 22, 2008 I thought it was a great idea. We were desperate in ideas to potty train our son. He liked it at first but wanted nothing to do with it after the first day.We will try to use it again later. Cute kid friendly voice. Kind of expensive.

We Love Potty Monkey May 03, 2008 Potty Monkey has been a great asset in the potty process, it is a very simple toy but seems to have helped our daughter at least grasp the concept of potty. It is also really cute!

horrible - timer does not work Feb 18, 2008 The monkey did not work for us. The timer does not work. And now the monkey announces he needs to go whenever ... it is like having another kid - trying to find his little potty so he won't keep announcing he has to go. I would not recommend this product.
